Tracebit is a category-creating, UK-based cybersecurity company that has raised Seed funding from Accel & Tapestry VC to redefine the traditional "honeypot" market, with the likes of Riot Games, Docker and Synthesia already adopting our new approach as customers.
As demand for our cloud-native security canary platform grows exponentially, we are scaling our team accordingly.
We are searching for a highly driven, smart, and energetic individual to join Tracebit to help build our sales development practice from the ground up.
Working with the Founding team in our London office 5 days a week, you will design, build, and scale an effective sales outreach process that drives new business opportunities for Tracebit.
You will report to our Founding Sales Lead, who previously spent 5 years at Snyk as an early employee during a hyper-growth period from $24M to $300M ARR and 200 to 1,200 employees. You will also work closely with Tracebit's Co-Founders, CEO and CTO, who were both early employees at Tessian, helping to scale the company to a rumored $500M exit.

Core Responsibilities:
Own the process of setting up meetings and pipeline generation across all mediums.
Create and deliver exceptional outbound copy across email and LinkedIn.
Conduct large volumes of cold calling into ideal customer accounts.
Build a network of cybersecurity professionals, fostering relationships across our market and sharing Tracebit's progress.
Develop areas like our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), messaging, pitch, email strategy, and more.
Be closely involved in our inbound strategy, working with sales and marketing to understand how we drive more inbound business.
Attend regular global events, being part of the core Tracebit team on event booths and sharing our message.
Become an expert at telling the Tracebit story and articulating our value proposition.

Grit and Resilience - Outbound sales is tough; we need someone with the ability to push through the "no's" and keep their head up.

Desired Experience:
1+ years in a sales role that involved generating net new business for your company. This does not need to be in technology - it can be from another industry, such as recruitment.
Experience in customer-facing roles, providing customer service, dealing with complaints, and working in busy environments.
Demonstrated high achievement outside of work, whether in sports, music, art, or other pursuits. Proven ability to work hard at something and drive a performant outcome.
Ability to grasp technical concepts to a strong degree. You do not need to come from a technical background, but the ability to build knowledge in the field of cybersecurity will allow you to excel.

FAQs
Are you doing hybrid/remote?
Short answer: No, but flexible on a day to day basis.
Long answer: We are set on building the company on a foundation of an office based culture. We are a very early stage company and think that we’ll build the best company at the fastest pace we can whilst also having a lot of fun by physically working together 5 days a week. On a case by case basis (e.g. leaving early for a holiday, staying home for a builder, working remote for a few days to visit family, etc. etc.) we’re very reasonable and flexible. We respect that this is not for everyone.
What are the working hours like?
We think 9am-6pm will bring a great cadence to work. As a Founding team member there will definitely be times you need to pick up work outside of these hours, we’re keen to limit this where we can but also offer flexibility in return.
