This role will build and grow Tessian’s reseller partnerships and ecosystem within the given territory. The role is responsible for finding joint customer and partner value with our channel partners and building a plan to drive both the product engagement and GTM success. Success in this role is dependent on the ability to implement and manage an effective channel strategy, delivering net new pipeline for the sales organization.
Responsibilities:
Developing, scaling, and managing the channel sales GTM in your region
Identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with resale partners to accelerate revenue growth
Enabling new and existing partners through co-selling and training
Generating partner sourced pipeline
Managing personal / partner performance through established success criteria to deliver measurable results
Providing accurate partner sales forecasting on a monthly and quarterly basis
Developing strong internal partnerships with key business partners/segments
Qualifications:
Living in territory with existing partner relationships is required (Major US Markets)
Excellent communication and highly developed social skills with strong ability to work in collaboration across an organization
Relationship building skills and strong business acumen
Strong writing & presentation skills
Committed to delivering outstanding customer and partner service while driving our partners’ and customers’ business success
Ability to deal with ambiguity and make decisions with incomplete information
Creative thinking and risk taking
Bachelor equivalent or equivalent work experience mandatory
5+ years of successful Business Development, Alliance, and/or Partner/Channel Sales experience within the security industry
5+ years working with security partners, channel partners, and/or cloud partners
5+ years experience in the security and/or SaaS markets highly preferred
Experience working in a high growth technology start up
Track record of carrying and achieving assigned quota
Approximately 25-50% of travel time required
