🤩 Why is your role important?
As Qovery’s first Senior Account Executive, you’ll help shape our sales strategy while driving new business. This role is essential to our growth, as we expand our footprint in startups, SMBs, and mid-market accounts. By demonstrating the value of Qovery’s DevOps automation platform, you’ll build long-term customer relationships that directly impact our success.
🚀 What will your job look like:
Daily, you’ll be in charge of:
- Drive New Business: Own the end-to-end sales process, focusing on startups, SMBs, and mid-market accounts. Consistently close deals, acquiring new logos and driving new ARR.
- Build & Manage a Healthy Pipeline: Partner with SDRs to maintain a steady flow of qualified leads. Generate 25%-30% of your pipeline via referrals, networking, and outreach
- Contribute to Go-To-Market Strategy: Share customer insights with product and marketing teams to refine Qovery’s messaging and offerings, ensuring alignment with market needs.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with SEs for pre-sales technical validations and demos. Partner with CSMs to ensure smooth transitions post-sale, fostering long-term customer success.
- Execute a Data-Driven Sales Strategy: Use CRM tools to manage your pipeline, forecast revenue, and optimize your sales tactics. Provide actionable feedback to SDRs to improve lead quality and conversion rates.
- Embody Qovery’s Culture: Collaborate in a caring, transparent, and innovative environment, building authentic relationships with customers and colleagues.
💡 About you:
- Experience: 3+ years in tech sales, ideally in early-stage startups or selling to a technical audience (Cloud infrastructure, DevOps tools, or SaaS).
- Proven Track Record: Consistently met or exceeded revenue targets, with experience closing deals worth $20K-$30K ACV, scaling toward $50K ACV.
- Collaborative Skills: Demonstrated success working with SEs and post-sales teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Adaptable & Resilient: Thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Technical Acumen: Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders confidently.
- Data-Driven: Proactive mindset with a focus on achieving results, backed by data and analytics.
- Passionate About Sales: Dedicated to helping startups succeed with innovative solutions.
