Description


We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our
Finance Team. This position will report to the Controller and is responsible for assisting in the
day-to-day operations of the core accounting function. Areas of responsibility include managing
the accounts payable process, overseeing cash management, performing month-end close
procedures, coordinating with our overseas bookkeepers, and assisting with financial reporting.
You will play a crucial role in our rapidly growing company that is on the forefront of developing
a superior, AI-enabled professional services automation platform.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform month-end close procedures, including preparation of journal entries and
    preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Oversee cash management and credit cards, including monitoring daily cash activity and
    preparing bank reconciliations.
  • Handle day-to-day transaction processing and prepare journal entries related to
    prepayments, fixed assets, accounts payable, and expenses.
  • Ensure that estimates, accruals, prepayments, and allocations are calculated and
    supported with appropriate basis or backup, in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Coordinate with our overseas bookkeepers to ensure the proper accounting for
    transactions in overseas operations, including intercompany activity.
  • Conduct monthly variance analyses to identify and explain fluctuations in financial
    results.
  • Assist with the annual financial statement audit.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Finance team and cross-functional departments
    to ensure the completeness and accuracy of accounting records.
  • Take on other duties and projects as assigned to support the finance team and overall
    business objectives.

What You'll Bring

  • Strong background in general accounting with hands-on experience in month-end close
    and an understanding of US GAAP.
  • Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with NetSuite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting positively and
    successfully with all levels of the company.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong time management, prioritization, and organizational
    skills.
  • Aptitude to find solutions for gaining efficiencies in the day-to-day accounting tasks as
    well as the month-end close process.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting in a
    position with equivalent responsibilities.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with NetSuite is preferred.

Where You’ll Be


For this role, we ask that you live within a reasonable commuting distance of downtown
Denver. Our team follows a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence on Mondays,
Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with the option to work from home on Wednesdays and
Fridays.

Salary ranges from $55,000 to $60,000 based on experience, with eligibility for a quarterly
performance bonus structure following the onboarding period.
