The role
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a squad of engineers building our core product. You'll work closely with the cofounders, product managers, and senior engineers to shape the roadmap and drive delivery of high-quality features — all while growing and developing the engineers around you.

The role
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a squad of engineers building our core product. You'll work closely with the cofounders, product managers, and senior engineers to shape the roadmap and drive delivery of high-quality features — all while growing and developing the engineers around you.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage a squad of 4–5 engineers building our core product
- Collaborate with the cofounders, product managers, and senior engineers to define the product roadmap and ensure it aligns with the company's mission and goals
- Drive speedy delivery of high-quality features and guide your team towards engineering best practices, including in code reviews, testing, and writing useful documentation
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and ownership within the engineering team
- Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard world-class engineers
- Mentor and coach individual engineers to help them grow and develop their skills
- A strong engineering background with hands-on experience leading high-performing teams in fast-moving environments
- Strong technical background in computer science or a related field
- Experience building and scaling complex software systems
- Experience leading a fast-moving, high-performing engineering team
- Proven ability to recruit and develop technically excellent engineers
- Passion for building products that are loved by their users
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with machine learning, and in particular computer vision, robotics, and embodied AI is a plus
- 5+ years in software engineering, with 2+ years in an engineering leadership role
- Demonstrated experience hiring and growing high-performing engineering teams
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across product, engineering, and leadership
