As ex-computer scientists, physicists, and quants, we felt first-hand how the lack of tools to prepare quality training data was impeding the progress of building AI. AI today is what the early days of computing or the internet were like, where the potential of the technology is clear, but the tools and processes surrounding it are still primitive, preventing the next generation of applications. This is why we started Encord.
We are a talented and ambitious team of 60, working at the cutting edge of multimodal and visual AI, backed by top investors, including CRV and Y Combinator, leading industry executives like Luc Vincent, former VP of AI at Meta, and other top Bay Area leaders in AI. We are one the fastest growing companies in our space, and consistently rated as the best product in the market by our customers. We have big plans ahead and are looking for our first Growth Manager to join us in building our team.
About The Role
Encord is seeking an analytical and driven individual to join our Growth team in San Francisco. As one of the first members of the U.S based growth team, you will play a major part in sustaining a rapid growth trajectory for Encord.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a bias for action to help build a scalable growth engine and drive global demand. We are still a startup: you’ll have to get hands-on with projects, operate with partial knowledge, and constantly be rethinking how we do things. Plus, move very quickly.
In this role, you will:
- Identify and prioritize new opportunities for growth.
- Execute growth experiments across various channels (events, content, PPC, social, campaigns, etc.) & use the results to craft data-driven strategies for lead acquisition.
- Contribute to building a scalable growth machine that allows us to run constant, iterative tests throughout the funnel.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of growth initiatives.
- Drive global demand and revenue by marketing Encord through various channels and across multiple geographies.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- An entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrating natural analytical abilities and the capability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Comfort in decision-making, executing with conviction & good judgment with limited guidance.
-Needs minimal direction in an ambiguous context to take action & adapt quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including communication with executives and senior leaders.
- Previous experience in B2B and/or SaaS is a plus, but not required. We are looking for demonstrated success in a challenging field that showcases resilience and determination.
