EduFund is India's leading education finance platform, helping parents plan, save, and pay for their child's higher education, in India or abroad. Co-founded in 2020 by Eela Dubey and Arindam Sengupta, EduFund was built on a simple conviction: most Indian families focus intensely on academic preparation for college and almost entirely ignore the financial side until it's too late.

Eela Dubey, Co-founder and CEO, is a NYU graduate with a background in hedge funds on Wall Street. Arindam Sengupta, Co-founder, is a Princeton University alumnus with experience at Citadel and Reliance Capital. Together, they built EduFund to close the gap between being academically ready and financially ready for higher education.

The platform offers a full suite of education finance tools, including mutual fund SIPs, fixed deposits, digital gold, and term insurance, alongside education loans, scholarship discovery, and end-to-end admissions support. Its AI-powered college cost calculator, Taara, gives parents inflation-adjusted cost estimates across 3,000+ colleges in 19+ countries in seconds, factoring in tuition, living costs, and currency risk.

EduFund started out as a B2C app for consumers. EduFund's B2B platform, Vittam, serves to scale the same mission through India's MFD ecosystem, enabling wealth distributors to offer their clients a broader suite of financial products, from education loans and GIFT City funds to EB-5 global investment products and international health insurance.

EduFund has served 250,000+ families and built a partner network of 40+ asset management firms and 15+ lending institutions, along with over 300 MFDs and IFAs through its B2B vertical, Vittam. EduFund has raised $12 million in total funding, including a $6 million Series A led by Cercano Management and MassMutual Ventures. The company is also supported by angel investors.
