Deta is pushing the limits of two critical technologies — personal cloud computing & operating systems — for users around the world.

As our first go-to-market hire, you will be the person tasked with getting the word out about Deta. We are looking to you to professionalize and implement our marketing across the board.

Your Role

• Organize & execute various campaigns: such as hackathons, newsletters, Deta VCs, launches, etc.

• Build clear systems and a strong foundation. There is an element of 'building the plane as it flies', so taking action through low visibility is a must.

• Understand the company’s product suite and vision, as well as the wider developer tools- and apps market to aid in product development and positioning

• Craft compelling writing & content across different media: announcements, tweets, emails, YouTube, etc.

• Develop and maintain a strong relationship with our users, speaking with them often

• Creating and maintaining dashboards around quantitative metrics

• Develop novel channels to grow our user base

Your Profile

The following profile is just a suggestion, and we will hire marketers who don’t satisfy all the requirements but they are amazing at something important.

• Well organized, but looking for 10x results. Notable organisation is required and experience juggling various campaigns simultaneously.. however you should not be a stranger to growth hacks, strategies, and counter-intuitive approaches.

• Copywriting skills. You will be the person to script videos, coordinate email copy, and implement content updates.

• Digital PR experience to ensure we're getting featured on the best magazines, blogs, podcasts, and newsletters.

• Experience working directly with technical audiences is a plus, to communicate with our users and asking questions that drive insights for our product team to take the product to the next level.
