About the Role

The People Operations Manager is a key member of the Cyberhaven team, responsible for overseeing and enhancing all People Operations functions. This role is an ideal opportunity for a highly motivated, hands-on individual who can ensure that Cyberhaven is supported in its fast-paced growth. This role requires hands-on management across all People Operations disciplines, including employee lifecycle management, rewards, benefits, and compliance with labor regulations. You’ll be responsible for fostering a high-performance culture and maintaining our reputation as a great place to work.

The ideal candidate will have had experience working in a fast-paced startup environment. Partnering with all of Cyberhaven’s various departments, fostering employee engagement, and the ability to work on multiple projects at once are key attributes.

The People Operations Manager will report to the CFO and will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Activities and Responsibilities

  • Manage new employee orientation, onboarding and exiting processes

  • Assist with payroll processing and review

  • Serve as the key People Operations business partner to functional leadership

  • Provide People Operations administration, including but not limited to maintaining employee files, managing employee benefits, updating employee handbooks, and managing leaves of absence

  • Manage People Operations systems and ensure data accuracy

  • Oversee performance management processes and employee recognition programs

  • Plan and manage various employee events including all hands meetings

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

  • Resolve employee relations matters

  • Identify opportunities to streamline People Operations processes, implement best practices, and enhance efficiency and accuracy

  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to people operations systems and software to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements for Position

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years of experience in HR management

  • SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR certification is a plus

  • Experience as an HR Support in a global organization across multiple time zones

  • Experience working with EOR, and hiring contractors as well US FTE employees

  • Strong leadership and management skills

  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices

  • Proficiency in HR software and systems

  • Ability to manage confidential information with integrity

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments

  • $120,000 to $140,000
