The successful candidate will be involved in electronics design, prototyping, and verification for the many PCB and sub-system designs and builds required for our products and test facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • PCB and electronics design & optimisation, assisting the software, electronics and electro-mechanical teams in particular

  • Perform design calculations and carry out simulations using industry standard tools (e.g. LT-SPICE)

  • Prototype as required, in order to estimate performance, identify high-risk areas and ensure high quality designs that require minimal re-design

  • Fault finding at component level

  • Strong engagement with technical reviews, feasibility studies and project reviews

  • Ensure all electronic engineering is in accordance with regulatory guidelines and standards

  • Advocate for and implement engineering best-practices

  • Collaborate closely with QARA, Software, Mechanical and Optics teams on cross-functional projects.
