About the Position:
Bluefish is seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Sales Operations Manager to partner across revenue leadership and drive operational excellence across our GTM motion. As our first dedicated Sales Operations hire, you’ll be responsible for developing and owning the systems, processes, and insights that power our entire revenue engine, spanning new business, account management, and expansion. You’ll serve as a key partner to sales, account, finance, and legal—driving critical workflows across CRM management, reporting, forecasting, territory planning, compensation, and deal desk operations. This is a high-impact role that requires both strategic thinking and tactical execution.
What You'll Be Doing
Sales Operations & Infrastructure
- Design, document, and continuously improve scalable sales processes from lead-to-close.
- Own the configuration and optimization of Hubspot and other GTM tools to ensure adoption, data reliability, and reporting that enables efficient operations and informed decision-making.
Reporting, Forecasting & Insights
- Build and maintain dashboards for forecasting, pipeline health, funnel conversion, and win rates.
- Analyze GTM performance metrics to inform strategy and enable data-driven decision-making.
- Prepare board- and exec-level reporting and provide actionable insights to sales leaders.
Territory, Quota & Compensation
- Lead account planning exercises in partnership with
- Support annual and quarterly quota design; administer and track attainment.
- Manage sales compensation structure and performance tracking; ensure clarity and alignment.
Deal Desk Leadership
- Own the deal desk function to support sales and account in structuring and pricing complex deals.
- Review and structure non-standard terms, pricing exceptions, and discount requests in partnership with sales/account, finance, and legal.
- Build scalable processes and approval workflows to accelerate deal velocity and maintain margin discipline.
- Create and maintain a central knowledge base for deal desk playbooks, policies, and approvals.
- Partner with finance to ensure clean deal documentation and smooth handoffs for invoicing and revenue recognition.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a connector across Sales, Account, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal to align systems and processes across the funnel.
- Support sales enablement efforts around process rollout, CRM usage, forecasting, and deal structuring.
Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Deal Desk in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- Strong knowledge of Hubspot (admin-level or close to it); experience standing up new GTM tools and integrations.
- Proven track record supporting a scaling sales org through systems, process, and deal desk best practices.
- Highly analytical with advanced Excel/Sheets skills; bonus for experience with Looker, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure from scratch.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with SaaS pricing models, legal/commercial terms, and ARR-based metrics.
- Experience with quote-to-cash tooling (e.g., DocuSign, Stripe, etc.).
