About the company:

Founders today are building global companies from day one — but the systems that manage their money were built for a different era. Aspire exists to change that!

We’re building the financial operating system for global founders, bringing banking, software, and automation into a single platform so businesses can move faster across borders and stay focused on building.

Aspire is built by people who think from first principles, care deeply about solving hard problems, and take real ownership of their work. Our team brings global experience from leading fintech and technology companies, and many of us are former founders and operators who understand what it takes to build thoughtfully, make trade-offs, and deliver at scale in a global environment.

Backed by leading global investors including Y Combinator, Peak XV, and Lightspeed, Aspire has been trusted by more than 50,000 startups and growing businesses worldwide to manage their finances since 2018. Together with partners like J.P. Morgan, Visa, and Wise, we’re building for the next generation of global companies.

About the Role:

You'll own Aspire's global partner marketing strategy and execution. This isn't a coordination role — you're the architect and the operator. You'll design the playbook, set the standards, and drive partner-sourced revenue and customer acquisition across all three business units, all geographies, and all partner categories: banking and fintech, ERPs and accounting platforms, VCs, channel partners, resellers, and ISVs.

Reporting to the VP of Partnerships, you'll set the global strategy and playbook that regional teams execute and localize. You'll work hand-in-hand with Field Marketing Managers in each market and Partnership Managers globally to ensure global consistency and local relevance both hold.

This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role. You're the strategist and the operator — comfortable setting the agenda and shipping campaigns. You'll drive outcomes through influence and partnership, not (initially) through headcount. It's ideal for someone who wants to build a function from blank page and isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves.

What You'll Own:

Global Partner Marketing Strategy & Playbook

  • Define and own Aspire's partner marketing roadmap tied directly to partner-sourced revenue and new customer acquisition targets across Aspire BA, Aspire OS, and AspireX.
  • Build the standard playbook: co-marketing program structures, MDF frameworks, partner enablement assets, campaign templates. Let regions localize, not reinvent.
  • Prioritize investment across partner categories and markets based on revenue potential, partner engagement, and strategic fit for each business unit.

Partner-Sourced Pipeline & Revenue

  • Identify and activate partner marketing opportunities with Partnership and Channel Managers globally. Turn relationships into active co-marketing pipeline.
  • Own the global Marketing Development Fund (MDF) framework — allocation principles, governance, ROI tracking — that regional and in-market teams execute against.
  • Track partner-sourced pipeline, revenue contribution, and new-logo acquisition. Use data to reallocate investment toward what works.

Co-Marketing Campaigns at Scale

  • Design repeatable co-marketing campaign frameworks (joint content, webinars, events, social) that Field Marketing and partner teams can run in-market.
  • Localize global messaging and positioning for partner-facing campaigns, market by market.
  • Equip partners with ready-to-use assets, playbooks, and enablement materials so they can market Aspire effectively

Bridge Between Partnerships & Field Marketing

  • Work closely with Field Marketing Managers in every market to align partner marketing execution with local go-to-market priorities.
  • Be the central coordination point so partner initiatives are globally consistent but locally relevant. No reinventing the wheel. No one-size-fits-all that ignores reality on the ground.
  • Represent partner marketing's needs and opportunities in Aspire's broader marketing and partnerships planning.

Measurement & Performance

  • Establish shared metrics and reporting cadence for partner marketing performance — pipeline and revenue contribution, campaign output, MDF efficiency, partner activation.
  • Share regular performance readouts with VP of Partnerships and BU stakeholders. Translate results into where to double down or pull back.

About You:

Must Have

  • 8+ years in partner marketing, channel marketing, or field marketing spanning multiple partner types (channel partners, resellers, ISVs minimum).
  • Proven track record designing and running co-marketing programs and/or MDF frameworks that drove measurable partner-sourced pipeline or revenue — not just brand awareness.
  • Experience working globally or across multiple markets/regions, setting central strategy that local teams executed.
  • Operate as both strategist and operator. Equally comfortable setting the agenda and shipping a campaign yourself.
  • Strong stakeholder management across Partnerships, Sales, Field Marketing, and BU/Product Marketing leadership.

Nice to Have

  • Background in fintech, SaaS, or financial services.
  • Experience in fast-growing, multi-business-unit organizations spanning SME, mid-market, and enterprise.
  • Familiarity with the full partner ecosystem in fintech — banks, ERPs/accounting platforms, VCs, channel resellers, ISVs.
  • Built partner marketing measurement frameworks (partner-sourced pipeline attribution, MDF ROI dashboards).
  • Fluency in Mandarin/Chinese — Aspire's partner ecosystem in China is growing.
