About the company
Founders today are building global companies from day one — but the systems that manage their money were built for a different era. Aspire exists to change that!
We’re building the financial operating system for global founders, bringing banking, software, and automation into a single platform so businesses can move faster across borders and stay focused on building.
Aspire is built by people who think from first principles, care deeply about solving hard problems, and take real ownership of their work. Our team brings global experience from leading fintech and technology companies, and many of us are former founders and operators who understand what it takes to build thoughtfully, make trade-offs, and deliver at scale in a global environment.
Backed by leading global investors including Y Combinator, Peak XV, and Lightspeed, Aspire has been trusted by more than 50,000 startups and growing businesses worldwide to manage their finances since 2018. Together with partners like J.P. Morgan, Visa, and Wise, we’re building for the next generation of global companies.
About the team
At Aspire, we’re on a mission to establish ourselves as the unrivaled #1 Finance Operating System for businesses in APAC. Our Marketing Team is at the forefront of this exciting journey, playing a pivotal role in building our brand, acquiring new customers, and nurturing existing relationships. Our Marketing team crafts and executes strategies to resonate with our target audience, and also to scale the acquisition of new users by identifying untapped channels and optimizing conversions.
About the role
You'll own our creator and affiliate channels end to end. You'll find the right voices, from macro business creators to nano KOLs and founder-podcasters. You'll sign and onboard them and build campaigns with them. Then you'll prove, using data, what works and scale it. The role is part partnerships, part performance marketing, and part creative strategy.
You'll sit in the Growth team. You'll work closely with performance marketing, lifecycle, product marketing, legal and compliance, and sales. You'll have ownership of the channel's targets, budget, and co-own the roadmap with the Head of Growth.
What you’ll own
Channel growth and pipeline
- Own qualified lead and activation targets for the affiliate and social-creator channel, and be accountable for its CAC, payback, and lead quality across all markets.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of macro, micro and nano influencers, podcasters, newsletter writers, YouTubers, LinkedIn and TikTok business creators, and creator networks or agencies.
- Run the full affiliate marketing lifecycle:
- Source: find relevant partners that fit our audience.
- Outreach: make first contact and pitch the partnership.
- Negotiate: agree terms, fees, contracts.
- Onboard: set partners up and enable them.
- Manage and grow: handle the ongoing relationship.
Campaigns and creative
- Develop campaign angles and messaging that turn Aspire's product into stories founders and finance teams care about.
- Write and brief creator scripts, hooks, and talking points. Give creators enough freedom to sound like themselves while keeping product claims accurate.
- Plan always-on programs alongside moments such as product launches, fundraising seasons, and incorporation and tax deadlines.
Compensation and rewards strategy
- Design the channel's economics, including flat fees, CPA, revenue share, hybrid models, bonuses, and performance tiers.
- Design partner and end-user incentives, such as referral rewards and sign-up exclusive rewards to drive quality sign-ups.
Measurement and diagnosis
- Set up tracking and attribution for every partner and campaign, including links, UTMs, and CRM integration.
- Regular performance reporting and diagnosis of underperformance or improvement actions.
What You Need to Be Successful
- 4+ years in influencer, creator, affiliate, or partnerships marketing. At least 2–3 of those years should be spent owning a channel with lead, acquisition, or revenue targets.
- A track record of building or scaling a creator or affiliate program, ideally from an early stage, with results you can quantify, such as leads, CAC, conversion lift, or revenue contribution.
- Experience in fintech, B2B SaaS preferred. You've translated a complex product into content that drives sign-ups.
- Partner sourcing and negotiation skills. You're comfortable reaching out cold, pricing a deal, and structuring a contract
- Creative and editorial judgment. You can write a hook, structure a 60-second script, and give creators feedback that improves their content..
- An analytical, performance-led mindset. You're fluent in attribution, funnel metrics, cohort quality, and unit economics. You're comfortable building your own reports
- Cross-functional stakeholder management. You can align legal, compliance, product, marketing teams.
- High ownership in a fast-moving environment. You're comfortable with ambiguity, building processes if it doesn’t exist and being accountable for your channels and partners.
- Preference for fluency in English and Mandarin, with the ability to coordinate effectively with partners in China and Hong Kong.
